
These drawers date to circa 1865-1875. They are machine sewn except for hand-worked finishes. They are split-crotch in design as was common during the period.

The waistband is slightly yoked and closes with a single button at center front. The waist measures 15" across when buttoned.

There are two 1/4" tucks on each leg with a row of dainty trim on the hem. It appears to be crochet. There is a 2" turned hem.
